Special award for Voix Libres in Potosí (30.04.2009)

Voix Libres reçoit la distinction de The Regional Governor of Potosí has conferred a special award on Voix Libres in recognition of the work it has been doing for over 10 years to help the poorest of the poor to achieve independence and dignity.

External auditors recently gave Voix Libres a 100% economic and social rating - an outstanding result in Bolivia, where corruption is rife.

"Vale Un Potosí" Prize for Voix Libres founder (05.03.2009)

Prix

Marianne Sébastien has received the "Vale un Potosí" medal in recognition of the outstanding results Voix Libres has achieved in its sixteen years of working for impoverished mine-workers, street people and families living on refuse tips in Bolivia. Awarded by UNIMPO (Unión de Mujeres Potosinas), the medal is the region’s highest honour.
